The primary risk when conducting an on-line survey is lack of participation. RW Humes & Company has devised processes and engaged technology that ensures maximum yield; that is, maximize the percentage of invited respondents that complete a survey.

A brief description of our processes and technologies is found below.

Personal invitations - Each respondent receives a high quality personal invitation and reminder.
Respondent administration - We carefully track respondents who complete the survey and send periodic reminders to those respondents who have not taken the survey.
Language support - Questionnaire websites, invitations and reminders are provided in virtually all languages.
Global ISP - Our survey website is hosted by Earthlink, a global provider of Internet services. Response time and availability are excellent worldwide, and large volumes of traffic are easily accommodated: less than 0.25 percent of our respondents have reported problems accessing our website. Many of these respondents subsequently complete the survey.
Custom e-mail solution - We use a bulk e-mail program that examines e-mail addresses for correct syntax, tests e-mail addresses by querying e-mail servers before sending the invitation and reminder and periodically resends e-mails to servers that are temporarily out of service. The result is a very high percentage of "received" e-mails.
