A concept presentation is a PowerPoint^® slide show given to a respondent prior to a personal interview or an Internet-assisted interview during a qualitative survey.

Concept presentations set the context for the subsequent interview. They contain information about the study and tell respondents what we want to know.
Product demonstrations are often used in concert with concept presentations.

Presented to respondents by the interviewer in the first minutes of the interview appointment, or
Presented to respondents via the Internet and reviewed with the interviewer during Internet-assisted interviews.
